6 months and ALL the CHANGE

1:09 AM

We have been married for HALF a YEAR. What?! Where has the time gone?

I have loved every lesson we've learned together and look forward to soooooo many more.

I cannot think of a more comforting and hopeful thought than the promised blessings of eternal companionship and family through our commitment to live in accordance to the promises we made in the House of The Lord.

The Best Day EVER. At the Manti Utah LDS Temple.

I recently read a great post from the Matt Walsh blog (link to article) about the "D" word (divorce). Something that is not even in our vocabulary as a married couple. Matt Walsh talks about people having "Divorce Parties".... that's a thing? What is being celebrated? It breaks my heart. The "D" affects more than two people who decide that they will part ways.

And to quote a Miranda Lambert song,
"Whatever happened to....staying married was the only way to work your troubles out?"

Anywho, maybe no one will pay much attention to little ol' me when I've presented my marriage experience as brand-spanking new but check back in 40 years ok?

ALL THE CHANGE
We have graduated and received the marvelous pieces of expensive paper with our respective University seals. (Go Utes!)

We were informed that Taylor starts training on July 14 so we will fly out to New York the Saturday before to get settled into the city. Many blessing came raining down as we just discovered that Papa Larson will also be in New York at the same time! Yay! That'll be great.

Training for Taylor ends August 15 so the next day, we will be on our way to London. Taylor will have some additional courses/training to complete before starting at the beginning of September. I hope that means that we will have a little time to FIND A FLAT and get to know our new home before he really digs into his workload (which we still don't know exactly what that will look like...)

I am still looking for a job. Hopefully everything pans out with my job, a flat, shipping and moving. My plan is to have a few London Prep posts. You know, just in case anyone else happens to be turning their life upside down and moving to the UK. And to inform our friends and family of what our life has been like preparing to go and what it will be like learning British English and maneuvering this huge change!
