Larson Wedding 2017 + my newest sister!

11:00 PM

The cutest

We got to celebrate with Danielle at the Grand America Afternoon tea

Then it was off to set up for the rehearsal dinner!

It's so hard being so cute.

Standing around waiting to be call for family pictures.

Couldn't be a cuter or grumpier ring bearer.

Ezra + Shirley partying it up before Ezra's bedtime

Wedding photo-booths are my favourite

This is the kind of thing that happens when you leave your phone with your friends. Joke is on you, dears.
They filmed our musical number so thank you! If you want to see it, let me know.

But seriously, every Larson wedding needs a Jon + Susanna. These guys saved the day in so many ways! Love you guys.

Woot woot! It was a beautiful send-off

Selfie with sparklers is not a good idea

Great day, sad it had to end because I adore my family but beyond happy to have gained a sister!

Cute little babushka kept us smiling as we checked out of the Grand and headed back to real life.

Transformation

12:17 AM

We still don't have pictures of the day but I can't get over our most perfect day. Best day of my LIFE.  Taylor is my dream come true. I couldn't imagine being luckier in love and in life.

I wanted to put this up now to perchance be of help to all these wonderful women I know who recently got engaged. Shout to the lovely ladies at the Perfect Dress!

I L. O. V. E. my dress. Always will.

The lace really made it. This is what it looked like before all the alterations.

The front has these gorgeous pleats from the natural waistline up to a beautiful sweetheart neckline.

The buttons all the way down the train probably got me. Plus, it has POCKETS. Done and done. The train looked amazing down and bustled up. I was sold on this being the base on which I could build my dream dress.

My husband and I were married in the Manti Utah LDS temple so sleeves were added for modesty.

The ladies at The Perfect Dress Utah listened to the faint idea I had conjured in my head and gave me fantastic suggestions and options for how I might want the finished product to look.

I knew I wanted lace. But if anyone has looked into full lace dresses ever, they cost a pretty penny. Robyn came up with a lace bolero type jacket made of lace with 3/4 length sleeves. L. O. V. E. I kept the sweetheart neckline that became just a whisper under the lace, but contrast enough with my olive skin to look fantastic...if I do say so myself.

I wasn't excited for the blush sash (not a pink fan, never have been) but it completed the look of the dress. And I didn't hate the bling.
The veil had this subtle beading all around the edge that perfectly matched my sash. It didn't come made with the dress or anything but was meant to be.

The lace jacket turned into a piece that would attach fully to the rest of the dress reaching down to the sash and continuing the buttons from the back all the way up to the neck.

To top it off, some pearl and rhinestone earring and rose gold bracelet to seal the deal.

To me, perfection.

I feel like a celebrity. A little bit.

So remember how Taylor and I have been married for just a little over two weeks? (and that we LOVE it) And that I raved about my beautiful wedding dress? (because I wish I could still wear it all the time)

Well, to all those lovely friends, cousins, and cousins-in-law that are getting ready for their big day:

GO TO THE PERFECT DRESS! You won't regret it!

I promise!

www.theperfectdressutah.blogspot.com

They featured me on their BLOG today (check it out! Link goes directly to a post about my experience there) and I feel pretty great about it. Not in a prideful way but it's so happy that more people get to see my dress and the wonderful work that my seamstress, Lidiya, did and the talent of our fabulous photographer, Mrs. Mikki Platt!(for Mikki's blog, click here)

I had the greatest experience there and I know they'll take care of you. My sister Ruth can tell you that I LOATHED the idea of dress shopping. Much like Taylor can tell you that I hated ring shopping. That's why he just picked it for me. And did a great job with it, too!

That just inspired my -Bonus Info- for today:
I did NOT pick my own engagement/wedding ring. Too stressful. Too many options for an indecisive girl. How was I supposed to know what I wanted to wear for the rest of my life? I'd never thought about it before Taylor suggested that our stop at the mall turn into our first ring shopping experience!
Taylor has fantastically good fashion sense. (I've mentioned this before) So that combined with his immense love for me and how he knows me, Taylor picked my ring. Not only that, he kept it secret from me all the way up to the minute after we were pronounce husband and wife. My first time seeing this ring was probably the same time everyone else saw it!
I wore this lovely thing for the 4 1/2 months we were engaged.
It was very hard to part with when Taylor took it to get it turned into the real thing.

Don't worry. I was speechless, too.
Taylor is really good at surprises.
